International Competition Musica Antiqua | Harpsichord Competition | Brugge (BE) 2015

The International Competition Musica Antiqua have an excellent reputation worldwide and have been important stepping stones in the international careers of numerous Baroque soloists. The competition is aimed at  young, highly educated performers who specialize in the historically informed performance practice. In 2015 the focus is on harspsichord. More than 70 young musicians participate in the preselections.

Candidates will be judged by an international jury consisting of members with a successful career in early music: Johan Huys -BE (president), Richard Egarr – UK, Andrea Marcon – IT, Béatrice Martin – FR and Christine Schornsheim -DE.

  • Preselections: 29.07, from 13:00, tem 01.08, provinciaal hof, free entrance
  • Semi-final: 03.08, from 10:00, provinciaal hof, free entrance
  • Final: 05.08, Concertgebouw Brugge
