EMV continue our multi-year exploration of the Goldberg Variations with the elegance and insight offered by Benjamin Alard who, at age 19, was awarded first prize and the public’s prize at the prestigious 2004 Musica Antiqua Harpsichord Competition in Bruges. Alard recently embarked on a project to record all of Bach’s keyboard works for Harmonica Mundi.  He is one of the great keyboardists of his generation. …read more.
