I collected in this new early music facsimile all the airs mostly composed for a treble instrument (treble recorder) and a bass by Godfrey Finger (c1656 – 1730). These airs were published among others in the well-known books of “Airs Anglois” by George Bingham between 1702 & 1706. I always find the music of Godfrey Finger very valuable, so I hope my fellow early music fans & musicians will agree with that and take the opportunity to play it. You will enjoy grounds, chaconnes, jiggs, and many more…
